   My way of composting is maybe not the most common but it always works! During the winter time I am just collecting organic stuff from the kitchen and trying to keep it as “fresh” as it gets, adding a brown stuff like dried leaf or woodchips blending it thoroughly in the bin. When in spring you can get the first grass-cut from the lawn you start the real composting, blending the hole mass whith relativly big dosis of grass and other freshly green stuff from garden. Using this method the stuff turns into soil-like humus, as the one seen in the video and it can alredy be used in flower beds or you can store it longer on the ground or in a open container. The process takes about 3-5 days and than you can start again collecting in the closed container.

   The heating process is natural (microorganism, decomposers) and can get high up if the blending is good. When the temp is about 50°C you have to turn the stuff and the decomposers will have more oxygen. Now the temp will fall for a short time but then build up again and now up to maybe 65-70°C depending on if there is enough stuff to decompose. Here you have to airate again and the heat can go up a bit higher but there are clear limits about 75-80°C and that will not this will not last for a long time.

   If you can hold the heat high it means that you have enough of good stuff and you are airating well.
